Power Zone and Domestiq Difficulty Index (DDI) searches are mutually exclusive. To deliver the best/expected results, we have removed DDI terms from this search. If you want to search for DDI terms, please clear the Power Zone search terms prior to specifying any DDI limits.
Background
Power Zone output is highly variable and is based upon an individual member’s FTP. The Domestiq Difficulty Index is a relative measure of difficulty for same-duration classes and is derived from the expected Average Output in kilojoules (kJ) for a given class. Since there is no concept of Average Output for Power Zone classes, the DDI does not apply to them.
Power Zone classes have a difficulty standard called the
Training Stress Score (TSS) that is used to gauge the intensity of Power Zone rides. You can use the Power Zone Search Tool to specify a TSS range to find Power Zone classes that meet your desired TSS training goals.
